This visa is a long stay visa that is issued for the purpose of bringing family members to any country varying country to country requirements; however we will give the general idea for specifically about Italy country under the category of family reunion visa.
GENERAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Long stay application form duly and completely filled in and signed. The form can be download from the website of the Italian Embassy.
- Signed Passport with a validity of at least 16 months and copy of first two pages of the passport
- Two (02) passport size photographs (Front shot, no head coverings, with white background), according to the ICAO standard
- Nulla Osta (also soft copy) and Visa Fee
- Readable copy of a valid Residence Permit in Italy (Permesso di Soggiorno) of the inviting person. If it has expired, or is about to expire, proof of having asked the renewal.
- ID document issued by NADRA
- A complete set of copies of legalized documents, according to the following requirements.
PARENTS INVITED BY CHILDREN
- Birth Registration Certificate of Inviting Son / Daughter, with mother and father indicated
- Marriage Registration Certificate of Parents
- Family Registration Certificate
- Dependency Affidavit in Urdu along with translation by the applicants on Legal Paper duly attested by Notary Public, stating that “applicants are solely and fully dependent on the inviting person for all their living expenses and medical needs, whether in Pakistan or in Italy, and they do not have any other source of income e.g. no pension, no agricultural land, no rental property etc.”
- The inviting person should also submit proof of support e.g. the form of funds transferred (bank transfer, money orders, western union etc.). When parent have more than 1 child i.e. the inviting person has one or more brother/sister, each of them must state in a Notarized Affidavit that they are unable to support their parents, as well as their country of residence (if living abroad).
SPOUSE
- Marriage Registration Certificate and Act of Marriage (Nikah Nama). Proof of Divorce in case of second marriage
- Family Registration Certificate
- Birth Registration Certificate of the applicant
CHILDREN
- Certified copy of Parent’s Marriage Certificate and Act of Marriage (Nikah Nama)
- Child Registration Certificate and Birth Certificate of the child, including the name of mother as well. Please note that the applicant might be required to supply additional proof of parenthood including and not limited to DNA and Bone Density Testing.
- Family Registration Certificate (FRC)
- In case the child is not accompanied by mother or other parent, whatever is the case, notarized No Objection, Affidavit on stamp paper in Urdu along with translation must be attached.
- In case one parent of the child is already resident of Italy, copy his/her Residence Permit in Italy (Permesso di Soggiorno) and certificate of residence from concerned commune in Italy must provide.
- In case of a deceased parent, original death certificate must be provided
- In case of adoption, only the formal decree of the court will be accepted as a supporting document
RELATIVES OF ITALIAN/EU CITIZENS
- Declaration of hospitality duly filled and signed by inviting person
- Copy of EU passport of inviting person
- Certificate of Residence of inviting person from concerned municipality in Italy
- Child Registration Certificate and Birth Certificate of the applicant(s).
ALL THE DOCUMENS ISSUED BY NADRA SHOUD BE LEGALIZED
- An application without a complete set of documents will be rejected
- The Embassy reserves the right to ask for additional supporting documents
- Any forged/fake documents will be reported to the relevant Authorities
- It is required a valid e-mail address (in block letters) and at least 2 valid contact numbers, plus a contact number of the inviting person in Italy
- The applicants are responsible to provide a set of photocopies of the original legalized documents.
